The e-VOA is an electronic visa on arrival for 30 days. It is issued online in advance, so at the border you only clear passport control.
If you are already in Bali and your time is running out, a new e-VOA can be arranged without leaving Indonesia. That is simpler than a visa run when you need one more month.
If you plan to stay longer than a month or six weeks, the C1 visit visa is better value: 60 days with two extensions, up to 180 days.
